About Long Drives...

After touring for years and spending countless hours on the road I always ached to find that perfectly laid-back instrumental driving soundtrack. Something that you can space-out to and enjoy while a desolate and beautiful landscape flies by. That’s where the idea for “Long Drives To Nowhere” came from. This record is slow, long, and it will definitely take you somewhere if you’re willing to go.

But don’t need to be driving to enjoy it, it’s great on headphones and perfect for bumping at the house on a beautiful day. I’m calling the genre Chill Age”, it’s like New Age Music, but... you know... chill.

All the instruments and amps are vintage and analog, there are no “digital” sounds on the album. I’ve always loved vintage keyboards for years but on this record I really fell hard for the old dusty synths.

I hope you find time to listen to it, whether today or perhaps on that perfect drive to nowhere.
